February 5th, 2023 • Pastor Kyle Smith

"The earth is the Lord's, and everything in it" Psalm 24:1 Nothing that we have accumulated is our own. All that we have is what God has entrusted us to steward. Stewardship isn't easy though. It is a war to honor God with what He has entrusted to us. In this introduction to the series, we answer the questions "What is stewardship?" and "Why is teaching on stewardship important for believers in Jesus?”

Principles of stewardship are great and beneficial, but they lose their purpose and are unsustainable as long as greed still exists within us. How do we recognize greed in our lives? How do we overcome it? These are important questions to answer before moving into "do's" of stewardship.

Stewardship: Generosity

March 19th, 2023 • Pastor Kyle Smith

Humanity was created in the image and likeness of God. Amongst other characteristics, God is a giver. His generosity is the source of our very existence and all of creation. Jesus' incarnation itself is an expression of God's generosity. "For God so loved the world that He gave..." Our souls return to their created nature when we are generous, and growth in generosity is evidence of a life that is following Jesus.
