Becoming a House of Prayer

"As we forgive our debtors”

When we are asking for forgiveness, we must consider the debt that we are asking to be released from. We can miss out on how amazing the grace extended to us is if we don't also recognize the gravity of the debt we owe due to our sin. Praise God He has made a way and wants to forgive us our debts.

This phrase of the Lord's Prayer is the first personal request. Jesus tells us to ask the Father to give us each day all that is needed to sustain us. This prayer recognizes that He is the source of all we need for physical and spiritual sustenance. Our faith for provision is in the Father's grace to give us our daily bread.

“Give us this day our daily bread”
